AFG invited to the 3rd GBA Development Business Conference with Li Zhen in attendance

The 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Business Conference opened in Guangzhou on September 15, 2025 themed under the headline "Empowering the Greater Bay Area, Exploring New Opportunities".
The conference was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government.
Key attendees and speakers included: Huang Kunming, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Jiang Xinzhi, Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Wang Weizhong, Governor of Guangdong Province, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the CCPIT, and Liu Jun, President of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Cen Haohui, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, delivered video addresses.
The conference brought together over 1,200 representatives from more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, including senior officials from national ministries and commissions, governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, renowned thinktank experts, heads of major national business associations, and leading domestic and international enterprises. As an outstanding representative of global sustainable agroforestry companies, we at Agroforestry Group (AFG) were invited to participate in this grand event, with Li Zhen, Partner and General Manager of China, attending on its behalf.
Li Zhen reported that the conference showcased the Greater Bay Area's strong capacity for resource aggregation and policy-driven momentum, providing a high-end platform for enterprises to integrate into the national development landscape and align with international standards. Key Addresses
Jiang Xinzhi, Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in his address, emphasized that the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major national strategy personally designed, deployed and advanced by President Xi Jinping, and also a new practice to advance the cause of "one country, two systems". He noted that since the release of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan Outline six years ago, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have collaborated closely, leading to a significant enhancement in the Greater Bay Area's economic strength and regional competitiveness.
Wang Weizhong, Governor of Guangdong Province, stated in his address that under the strong leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Guangdong has joined hands with Hong Kong and Macao to focus on the new positioning of "one point, two places". It has earnestly implemented the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan Outline, vigorously advanced the alignment of rules and mechanisms, and pushed the Greater Bay Area to advance towards greater integration, innovation, and strength.
Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the CCPIT, pointed out that hosting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Business Conference is a practical step to implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and advance the development of the Greater Bay Area, as well as a concrete measure to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign business communities.
Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Cen Haohui, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, delivered video addresses, stating that they will continue to actively promote high-level connectivity among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, deepen the alignment of rules and mechanisms across the three regions, and facilitate the efficient flow of people, goods, capital and information.
During the conference, participants held in-depth discussions on topics such as cross-border finance, commercial law, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine. At the opening ceremony, the launch ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Convention and Exhibition Industry Alliance was held, and two important outcomes were released: the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Supply Chain Promotion Report and the Interim Arbitration Guide for the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Among them, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Supply Chain Promotion Report, from the perspective of the business community, systematically reviews the progress in advancing the Greater Bay Area's supply chain. It maps out the supply chains of smart vehicles and innovative pharmaceuticals in the Greater Bay Area for the first time and puts forward 39 countermeasures and suggestions. The Interim Arbitration Guide for the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone provides rule-based guidance for enterprises to resolve disputes through ad hoc arbitration within the pilot free trade zone.

第三届粤港澳大湾区发展工商大会在广州开幕。本届大会由中国贸促会、广东省人民政府、香港特别行政区政府、澳门特别行政区政府共同主办，以 “赋能大湾区、共拓新机遇” 为主题。广东省委书记黄坤明出席，全国政协副主席姜信治出席并讲话，广东省省长王伟中、中国贸促会会长任鸿斌、中国工商银行行长刘珺出席并致辞，香港特别行政区行政长官李家超、澳门特别行政区行政长官岑浩辉发表视频致辞。
大会汇聚了来自全球 30 多个国家和地区的 1200 余位代表，包括国家部委、粤港澳三地政府高级官员、知名智库专家、主要国家商协会负责人以及国内外行业领军企业等。AFG 农林集团作为全球可持续农林业的卓越企业代表，应邀参与此次盛会，集团合伙人兼中国区总经理李桢代表出席。
全国政协副主席姜信治在讲话中强调，建设粤港澳大湾区是习近平主席亲自谋划、亲自部署、亲自推动的重大国家战略，也是推动 “一国两制” 事业发展的新实践。他指出，《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》发布 6 年来，粤港澳三地紧密携手，大湾区经济实力、区域竞争力显著增强。
广东省省长王伟中在致辞中表示，在习近平总书记、党中央坚强领导下，广东携手港澳锚定 “一点两地” 全新定位，认真落实《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》，大力推进规则衔接、机制对接，推动粤港澳大湾区向融而进、向新而行、向强而立。
中国贸促会会长任鸿斌指出，举办粤港澳大湾区发展工商大会是贯彻落实习近平主席重要讲话精神、推动粤港澳大湾区建设的实际行动，也是促进中外工商界交流合作的务实举措。
香港特别行政区行政长官李家超、澳门特别行政区行政长官岑浩辉通过视频发表致辞，表示将继续积极推动粤港澳三地高水平互联互通，深化三地规则衔接、机制对接，促进人流、物流、资金流、信息流的高效流动。
参会期间，李桢深刻感受到大湾区所展现出的高水平开放与创新融合动能。他表示，此次大会彰显出大湾区极强的资源聚合力和政策推动力，为企业融入国家发展大局、对接国际标准提供了高端平台。AFG 农林集团作为长期致力于可持续农林业发展的国际企业，更加坚定了与大湾区共同成长的信心。
本届大会期间，与会代表围绕跨境金融、商事法律、人工智能、生物医药等议题进行了深入探讨。开幕式上举行了粤港澳大湾区会展业联盟启动仪式，并发布了《粤港澳大湾区供应链促进报告》和《中国（广东）自由贸易试验区临时仲裁指南》两项重要成果。其中，《粤港澳大湾区供应链促进报告》立足工商界视角，系统梳理了大湾区供应链促进情况，首次绘制了大湾区智能汽车、创新药供应链图谱，并提出了 39 条对策建议；《中国（广东）自由贸易试验区临时仲裁指南》则为企业在自贸区内通过临时仲裁解决争议提供了规则指引。
